Prof Kankanhalli delivers keynote speech at IEEE ISBA on research being done in N-CRiPT
Professor Mohan Kankanhalli, Director of N-CRiPT, delivered a keynote speech at the 5th IEEE International Conference on Identity, Security, and Behavior Analysis (ISBA) on 23 January 2019.
His talk titled ‘Privacy-aware Computing for Smart Cities’ discussed some of the critical issues related to privacy in the context of smart cities with particular focus on unstructured and multimodal data such as text, images, video, and audio. Specific privacy problems related to video surveillance, biometrics, smart grids, Internet-of Things were covered highlighting examples of work done by researchers at N-CRiPT such as novel privacy techniques for data publishing and machine learning.
